Maddie is a very sweet, 1 year old yorkie mix who weighs about 7 lbs.  She is somewhat shy and will need a quiet home and a patient adopter.   She and her sister were seized by animal control from a homeless encampment, for neglect.  Since she's a young dog she will need someone to give her daily walks and exercise. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
