Baron is an extremely sweet, but very shy, Cavalier mix who came from a hoarding situation.  The dogs were forced to live in piled up feces in a small travel trailer, and were left to their own devices, their owner mentally ill and feeding and watering them when she remembered.  Of course, all were not altered and breeding was uncontrolled.  Baron was not socialized properly to humans, thus his shyness around people.  But he has come a long way since we've had him.   He will need a kind, patient owner who can provide a quiet, safe and secure home.  Another dog who is confident and not shy, would be a plus to help him see that the world might not be so scary.  Baron weighs about 25 lbs., and is between 1 and 2 years old.  No kids please. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
