Muffin is a sweet 7 to 8 year old female Lhasa who was surrendered by her elderly owner due to the owner's health issues.  Muffin was never treated very well in her life as she was severely matted, and her toenails had grown so long that they were embedded into her feet.   Poor girl was in quite a bit of pain.  She probably was never groomed in her entire life.  Now, she has been treated, bathed and trimmed although her fur seems patchy but will grow in with time and care.  She loves people and doesn't seem to mind other dogs.  She has quite a bit of energy and would love daily walks now that she is able!  Her adoption fee is $150 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
