Doc has been adopted by a wonderful couple in the Shingletown area. He'll have a girl pug to play with and a big backyard. What's best is that he'll be in the "cool" part of the area and not have to suffer through these abominable Redding summers!

Actually, that's not the best part. The best part is that he'll have a family that will love and care for him the rest of his life. Way to go, Doc!

We rescued this guy from a local shelter. We couldn't believe he had been there for so long. He is absolutely gorgeous, and with a winning personality too. He was obviously loved and well cared for by whoever owned him, but he was taken in as a stray and nobody came to look for him. Isn't that sad? It often makes us wonder what can have happened to these poor animals.

Doc is about 2 to 3 years old and is probably housetrained but we haven't had him long enough to determine that for sure. He is a friendly guy, but unsure of himself right now. Give him a few weeks with us and he should be happy and content.

Please read about our adoption policies and procedures before calling or emailing with questions.  Many of your questions can be answered by reading our information.  Keep in mind that the first step toward adoption is to fill out an application.  Also, WE DO NOT SHIP!

All animals are bathed and groomed before adoption, vaccinated with proof of vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and also are sent home with a leash, collar or halter, toy and food to get you started.
