Howie is a toy fox terrier and quite the gentleman, very well mannered and loves other dogs and is house broken. He has been someone’s beloved companion until his owner fell ill and was no longer able to keep Howie. He is very healthy for his age, just had vet exam and blood panel which came back great. Howie loves people and would make a great companion dog. He would very much prefer a quiet home. Courtesy referral.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
