About MITZY | |
|
|
Mitzy was rescued from a kill shelter because no one ever wants the seniors. And this gal is a young senior (age 8), with half her life still ahead of her. She's had a thorough exam by the vet, blood work and was pronounced "healthy and fit". Some of our younger dogs don't even pass that test!
Mitzy was turned into the shelter by family after her owner died. There are so many dogs that this happens to - how sad. To lose her best friend and then end up at that place. At least we have her now.
Mitzi would be fine with kids 14 and up (she's not as active as she used to be) but would be best in an adult only home. She'll be a lovely dog for whoever wants her. She's well mannered and eager to please. Won't you take a chance on this lovely lady?
Please read about our adoption policies and procedures before calling or emailing with questions. Many of your questions can be answered by reading our information. Keep in mind that the first step toward adoption is to fill out an application. Also, WE DO NOT SHIP!
All animals are bathed and groomed before adoption, vaccinated with proof of vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and also are sent home with a leash, collar or halter, toy and food to get you started.
