Pumpkin is a 3 year old female Havanese, about 11 lbs and apricot in color.  Sits up and begs for attention.  Is moderately dog aggressive; may get along with submissive male dogs.  Very friendly and sweet.  The last picture is of her with longer fur.  She had to be shaved because she was so matted.  Pumpkin is very energetic and puppy like in her behavior so we would prefer an active home for her.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
